LV’s Newest Releases… Rock Stars and The Women They Love!

Many of you are aware it’s been a while since I had something new to come along. The last couple of weeks has been an awesome time for me since I have not one, but two new releases for your reading pleasure.

First up, I have book 2 of The Rock Legend Series entitled “Redemption: A Rockstar Romance.” So if you’re into contemporary romance featuring rock stars, this book is right up your alley. For the next couple of weeks, Book 1 is just $0.99 to give those who haven’t read “Savage: A Rockstar Romance,” the opportunity to catch up on the story. Because in a couple of weeks, “Revival: A Rockstar Romance,” will round out The Rock Legend Series. While book 3 is still set in the same world, the story’s leads change from Brody and Sky to Dylan and Alyssa, whom you will have already met in Books 1 and 2.

And did I mention they are all published widely in the major eBook sales platforms (Amazon, iBooks, Nook, and Kobo)? So, take this opportunity to read the entire series within a few weeks all told. You won’t regret it!

The blinders are already beginning their slow descent when Gary reaches Princess Amarie’s apartment. The moving shadows make him nervous and more alert. His boss’ voice slices through the paranoia already building up inside his mind. She’s going to need you, Sergeant. Right. I’ve got a job to do. Time to get to work.
Until a kit shows up, the only weapons Gary has are the Ama Seldova-issued segif on his gun belt and a pocket knife. The gun only temporarily knocks out an individual, and the knife won’t be useful against most Nighters. Against a single opponent, this won’t prove to be an issue. Two attackers, and Gary will have to take some chances. More than that, and the only real option for guaranteed survival is running. Hoping the attack doesn’t come tonight, or has happened already, Gary runs for the elevators leading to the top floor.
During the day, the Complex is filled with Humans and Metas moving about, each doing their job or living as best they can in what amounts to a giant tube. The same is true at night. The Human population gives way to Nighters, who are inherently quiet, which makes the atmosphere far more stifling to Gary as he passes them in the apartment’s lobby. The stares are worse. In Gary’s mind, each one of them looks hungry and thinks he is a stupid, easy meal.
Safely upon reaching the elevator, Gary smacks the ‘Up’ button hard enough to echo back towards the awakened civilians. Snickers echo around him as he turns with a silly look on his face. Hey fella, we’re all here to be peaceful. Chill out. Those words are etched on every face that turned at the sound. Fuck, Gary thinks. Why do I have to be so damned human?
An eternity of stares and seconds later, the elevator doors open. Gary forces himself to step inside with some semblance of dignity. Not too fast, not so slow as to be cartoonish. Now alone, he heaves a sigh. The doors begin to close, and he thinks, Okay, get your bearings back. Relax. You’re a goddamn soldier. Act like one.  Before the doors can fuse shut, pale blue fingers slip between them, automatically reversing open. A tall, lean man with the pallor of undeath smiles at him.
“I assume you’re going up,” the man asks.
“Yep. Straight to the top,” Gary replies.
“Perfect.”
The man pushes the button for the floor below Princess Amarie’s, then steps back and to the side so he’s flush with Gary. Side by side for the full ride, neither looks at the other. Gary decided early on this was the most uncomfortable elevator ride in man’s history that didn’t lead to someone’s death or dismemberment. So far. They reach the man’s (vampire, Gary) floor and the doors slide open. Before exiting, he looks Gary straight in the eye.
“Come and see me sometime, when being a monster hunter isn’t such a new smell on you. We’ll have more fun then,” the man says.
“Don’t do anything I need to come and see you for. We’ll pretend this didn’t happen,” Gary replies, meaning every word.
“Everybody knows that is not how this experiment will go down, Locke. You don’t have enough to lose yet, so it’s no fun to play with you. And please, feel free to visit me any time.”
The man vanishes into shadow as the doors close. Gary stares at the ceiling of the elevator, wondering why vampires were gifted with mind-reading. Willing the car to move up faster than programmed, he thinks, Just one more floor, dude, and we’ve finished the hard part.
The elevator doors open, and immediately Gary knows he’d been wrong. The hard part wasn’t over at all. A piercing scream is sounding through the thick walls of the princess’ suite on his left. What the fuck is happening to her? No time, gotta move. Gary pulls his segif from its holster and finds the nearest door leading left.
With one swift kick, he splinters the solid oak door. With a second kick, he smashes enough to duck in without his vision being impaired. From the corners of his eyes, he sees a flashing light but has no idea what it might be. To his right, however, is the princess. Naked. Her dark olive skin on display. Her arms and face are tilted up and what looks like purple smoke is weaving its way into her nostrils. Another scream escapes her mouth. Bolting from his crouched position, Gary harpoons himself into the princess in a desperate plea to stop this attempted possession.
With a heaving gasp, she falls underneath him, and the smell of her sweet perspiration invades his nostrils, saturating every pore of his being. Gary barely has time to realize he recognizes this scent before he loses all awareness in the emerald green mirrors of the princess’ eyes.
The vision before him is perfection personified. Her skin is so soft to the touch he could caress it forever. The vulnerability in her eyes slays him, and he feels himself reacting to her in a way that is not very professional, but he can’t help himself.
Perhaps it’s the fact that he hasn’t been with a woman in a while. His job keeps him busy, and fuck paying for sex. He’s old school and would rather hook up the old fashioned way. Princess Vanyarin certainly is his type—exotic brunette. Maybe it’s her Meta powers that’s got him under her spell, but it can’t be that. The device he’s wearing should protect him from that.
The fruity-looking fairy boy says something in a language Gary doesn’t understand, and his body’s reaction to the Princess goes into overdrive.
“What in the absolute fuck!”
Gary tries to turn away from the sleek, lithe body beneath him, away from the enchanting eyes, but he can’t. Within seconds, blackness covers him, the world goes cold, then nothing.

Fly Me To The Moon ~ Release Day Blitz ~ #ASMSG #Romance #Bev_Elle

Title: Fly Me to the Moon
Author: Bev Elle
 Release Date: February 14, 2015

Synopsis

Ticketing agent Jessamy Taylor has been in a dating slump exacerbated by moving her sickly mother into her home. The truth is she’s never gotten over the quirky Dr. Griffin Sanderson whose Obsessive Compulsive Disorder drives her crazy, despite his excellent bedside manner.

Fly Me to the Moon is a love song covered by many, the most memorable being Frank Sinatra. Griffin whistles this tune incessantly, but that’s just one of the many odd quirks Jessamy Taylor either loves or hates about him. Since their ill-fated love affair two years prior, she’s found no one to replace the good doctor.

A date with a self-absorbed jerk that goes awry for Jessamy somehow ends with her in Griffin’s arms. Will the changes he’s made be enough this time, or will secrets tear them apart?

 Excerpt
Chapter 2

Kyla rasped, “I-Is that Griffin petting a dog over there?”

Jessamy shielded her eyes with her hand and peered across the cul-de-sac. If she’d seen it first, she might have choked on her lemonade, too. Griffin Sanderson was petting the Fowlers’ dog. “Oh my God, he is!”

“Don’t they have like a gazillion germs or something? And what happened to his glasses?”

“Actually, some would argue that dogs are cleaner than humans. And Griffin got contacts.”

“Finally. You know, Jess, he’s looking kind of good, today. You might want to tap that again since he’s had a makeover and all.”

Jessamy waved her off. “I couldn’t possibly.”

“Why not? The guy I see over there looks infinitely tappable.” Kyla set her drink on the table and folded her arms.

Jessamy sipped her lemonade. “He may look tappable today, but you didn’t have to experience what I did with him as his girlfriend for two years. I should’ve called it quits after our Christmas trip to the Poconos, but I had fallen for him, and like so many misinformed women in history before me, I thought I could change him.”

“You’d think you two would’ve been great together, twin OCD and all. And I thought you said the trip to the Poconos was perfect.” Kyla said, air-quoting the word perfect.

“Everything was perfect up until that trip. We had so much in common. We both loved science fiction. We were both G.R.R. Martin geeks who watched the Game of Thrones show together and nitpicked how the show differed from the books. And even though I had the books on my kindle, he gifted me the hardbacks as a three-month anniversary present.” Jessamy smiled at the memory.

“I remember. You two were enough to make regular folks gag.”

“And you and Carter don’t—with your copious PDA?”

Kyla laughed. “But at least we don’t get all aroused over an episode of The Big Bang Theory.”

“Carter likes that show.”

“Not more than he likes me, though.” Kyla actually twirled her hair.

“Is he coming today?”

“Yeah, after he does his Saturday morning nine holes with his boss. Ugh!”

“Good, we’re going to need all the people we can get to eat up all this food.” Jessamy eyed the tables balefully.

“Look!” Kyla said. “Griffin’s holding the Fowlers’ baby. Now doesn’t that make your ovaries want to explode?”

Jessamy turned her head slowly, knowing the sight would slay her. Griffin never held babies. She took it all in as if in slow motion. Mark was holding their toddler in place as Jenny was cleaning up the sticky Popsicle he was covered in, while Griffin was holding the four-month old. He cradled her a bit nervously at first, then he seemed to get his baby-holding legs under him and finally began to smile and talk to her.

Jessamy and Kyla could hear her baby giggle from where they stood. “Aww!” They said in tandem.

EXCERPT

“Tell me again why you can’t stay?” Tristan says as we stand in front of the elevator.

“Because it’s just not a good idea. And I don’t have anything to wear.”

“Actually, you do,” he says. “Mrs. Naven found some things in the laundry after you left. Problem solved.” He takes both my hands and backs up into the sitting room.

“Tristan, we still have some things to sort out. Tonight was great, but I still don’t think I’m cut out to be your submissive.”

“Just my submissive?”

I drop my head. “No. Anyone’s.”

“You’re afraid you’ll have panic attacks again, aren’t you?”

I feel like I’m about to be swallowed up by the sincere blue eyes tracking and pinning mine so effectively I can’t look away. “Yes. And I’m no use to you if I can’t endure the scenes, particularly the occasional disciplinary consequences.”

“What if there was a way you could?” His finger traces a gentle path down my cheek.

“What do you mean?”

“Just what I said. If there was a way we could work around the panic attacks, would you come back? For good?”

“You mean until you perfect your exit strategy? That’s what you venture capitalists call it, don’t you?”

“Ah, someone’s been paying attention at our semiannual business meetings?”

“I have a rather exacting mentor who insists on being heard.”

“Asshole,” he says and pulls me close.

I place my hands on his chest in an effort to sustain some emotional equilibrium, but he doesn’t let me go. “I’m the one who’ll be ass-out when you lose confidence in your investment and decide it’s time to diversify your portfolio again.”

“I don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon, Keisha.” He draws me closer, palming my hips, and I get his point. Pun intended. “I can’t seem to get enough of you.”

I slip out of his arms and put some space between us. “Chemistry has never been an issue for us, Tristan. I know your lifestyle is important to you, and I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up.”

The truth is, I’m hopelessly in love with a man who hasn’t given me any indication that he will ever want a real relationship. Nothing has changed on that front. He still just wants just a Dominant/submissive relationship, which might enjoy a longevity his other arrangements haven’t had, but it will eventually end.

Can I really do this? I certainly don’t think I’ll become any less in love with him over time. Reentering a sexual relationship with Tristan now would be exceedingly counterproductive to the reasons I left in the first place, but I am hard-pressed to make myself walk away again.

Tristan moves so close behind me that I can feel the warmth of his skin, his breath wafting over my ear as he speaks. “We’ll take things slow—again.”

He runs a finger along my arm, and gooseflesh sprouts like ivy in its wake. I feel a pull toward him that can only be described as magnetic—my body eager to be reunited to his. Even though it could conceivably be more painful for me this time around, I’m not sure if leaving him again is within the realm of possibility. I can’t rationalize staying, but leaving becomes increasingly more difficult with each second I remain in his presence.

I turn to face him. “Slow isn’t necessarily going to keep the attacks at bay.” Or guard my heart if he decides he’s done with me.

“We’ll figure out a way to do that together.” He takes me into his arms again. “These three weeks have been … just please stay.”

I look into his eyes, and all I want to do at that moment is kiss him senseless. He may not have given me a declaration of love, but somehow I know this is as close as I’m going to get with a man like Tristan White. For now.

As an answer, I stand on my tiptoes, throw my arms around his neck, and kiss him with everything in me.

EXCERPT:
I wipe my hands on my dress, staring at the numbers 806 on the gold metal plate. This is it, Audrey. You’ll walk in that door a girl and eventually come out a woman.
“I’m such a loser,” I mumble to myself, and twist the doorknob.
A man hops up from the love seat when I enter. He has dark hair and a defined, closely shaved jaw. He’s handsome, definitely not smelly or gross, and strangely familiar.
“Have we met before?” I blurt, trying to place him.
“Um… I don’t think so,” he says, flashing a heart-stopping smile. His eyes meet mine and they’re bluer than blue. Henry Cavill.
“Oh, I saw you going up the elevator last week.”
“Right. Of course, I remember that,” he says with an even brighter smile. Adorable dimples appear on his cheeks. He holds out his hand. “You were loitering in the lobby. I’m Graham.”
I remember why I’m here and my face burns, surely, turning bright red. I take his hand anyway and say, “Audrey.”
“Right.”
“Right,” I repeat feeling like an idiot.
“Would you like to sit down?” he asks.
“I guess so, thanks.” I take the same spot as the other day but this time I sit in the middle, hoping he doesn’t try to sit next to me. What am I doing here?
Graham sits across from me and says, “I know this is all new for you, but please don’t be uncomfortable. Dr. Markson has told me all about your situation and I just want to help. I think together we have a really good chance of defeating your anxiety.”
His speech is so sincere and he’s giving me the most empathetic smile. I want to die of humiliation. Covering my face with my hands, I groan. “Oh God, this is so embarrassing.”
“Why?”
“Because you know I’m a defective misfit; and you’re here to help me with something I never share with anyone. Like ever, yet you’re just talking about it like its normal.”
“It’s your normal,” he says.
“Yeah. Whatever.” I cross my arms over my chest and nervously look around the room, anywhere but at him. I notice a small black journal on the coffee table. “What’s that?”
“Those are our instructions and guidelines for the day.” He picks the book up, and says, “Want me to read them?”
My stomach burns from anxiety. I want run from the room and never look back. “I guess we may as well see what this is all about.”

New Orleans’s Hotel Beaudelaire isn’t just a critically acclaimed 5-star establishment. For New Year’s Eve, it becomes a Den of Sin, and its owner extends invitations to a few discriminating guests to help make their sexual fantasies come true.

REDEEMING THE AMAZON SUMMARY

Most come to The Beaudelaire Hotel a select few times a year merely to indulge in sexual fantasy, but the stakes are higher for Karen Freeman and Paul Beaudelaire this New Year’s weekend. Karen is nine years post-op from a double mastectomy, and her vain ex-husband hadn’t agreed with her decision to remove her remaining good breast or to eschew reconstruction. In the end, that decision cost her. She lost her marriage, but she’s certain the move has prolonged her life.

Returning to a normal dating and sex life has been difficult. She hasn’t made love fully unclothed since the demise of her marriage, and her most significant relationship occurred right after her surgery. When she was still recuperating, she had an affair of the heart with a Marine amputee who’d also been her Ph.D. classmate.

Paul Beaudelaire once led a charmed life as a ladies’ man who had his pick of women in the upper echelons of New Orleans society. He’d been satisfied to continue in that vein, until a Marine recruiter wooed him from LSU with tales of valor, courage, and commitment. His career in the corps cut short by the loss of his left leg, Paul returned to New Orleans with the best prosthesis Johns Hopkins orthopedics experts could fit him with. The problem was, he’d left his heart in Baltimore with a beautiful former model, whose crippled marriage was the only deterrent to his waning honor. Will this fantasy weekend at his Uncle Henri’s hotel give him a second chance with his contemporary Amazon, or will her fear of rejection be a barrier to their reconnection?

EXCERPT – REDEEMING THE AMAZON

“What just happened? We were in a good place until all of a sudden, we weren’t.”

She shrugged like a gawky, inexperienced teen, afraid to go all the way with the boy she liked she wasn’t sure would still like her in the morning. He hated that the cancer had done this to her. Robbed her of her confidence.

“Karen, I would never hurt you.”

She smiled. He’d been going for intimacy, for sincerity, but apparently his heartfelt declaration struck her as funny.

“You know I won’t take advantage if you let me in,” he said, giving her a glimpse of his own vulnerability. This was as much about him as it was about her. Then he realized this statement was innuendo-laden as well, when her grin broadened.

“Exactly how do I know this?”

He would not let a moment of levity steal the inroads he was determined to make. “Because you know I’ve been where you are, even though on the surface it looks like I’ve dealt with and overcome all my issues with body image. Will you take a chance and go places with me intimately that you haven’t with anyone else?” He hoped like hell she could trust him. She hadn’t backed out when she found out he was her partner for the weekend, so there had to be something to her acceptance.

“How cunning. You knew the one thing—the only thing—that makes living inside our imperfections so difficult. I’m not surprised you get it.”

She smiled that same smile he saw in his fantasies. The one that says more than her words. She squinted, and laugh lines seemed to appear from nowhere. There was no guile or arrogance in it, just the tentative smile of a woman who was once very self-assured and was again trying it on for size.

It was that smile Paul had responded to first, before he’d discovered other interesting things as he’d continued to watch her. The way she walked with such grace, one might believe she was floating. The way she saw through bullshit as if she had a built in meter for it. Even his. The intensity with which she viewed life was even atypical, a study in contradictions for one who’d stared death in the face and made it back down.

“If we do this your way, I’ll have one rule.”

Desperation made him reckless. “Anything.”

“The lights must be off.”

“Except that…” He stood and paced. “Karen, we’re supposed to leave our inhibitions at the door.”

“Okay. Suppose I were to blindfold you instead?”

He stopped in his tracks and smiled involuntarily. “That sounds promising, but if we get any kinkier than that, we might have to change floors.”

“Let’s just get the mechanics down now, shall we?”

“That doesn’t sound particularly sexy.”

Her expression challenged him. “I’m going to make you rue that statement before this weekend is over.”

“Game on,” he said.

When the Beaudelaire Hotel turns into a Den of Sin for the New Year’s weekend, any and every fantasy can become a reality…

Seraphina Gibson orchestrates fantasies, but this year she’ll create one of her own. It’s against the rules for an employee to participate in the weekend-long sex-capade but she’s willing to risk it for Luke Moreland. The man’s a mystery, but in a sea of CEOs and Fortune 500 billionaires, he stands out. His past and connection to her boss is clouded in intrigue, but she knows what he wants, and she plans to star in one of his voyeuristic trysts.

Born with a silver spoon Luke Moreland is used to getting everything he desires. Being next in line of his family’s winery leaves him very little time to take advantage of his riches. For a weekend, out of every year, he gets to feel the thrill of the chase. Not even in his sexual fantasies does he like to lose control, but then Seraphina walks into his playroom. He doesn’t know the truth of her past, but he knows the risk she’s taken to be with him. That doesn’t matter. He’s going to spend the next two days with her in his bed and keep her secret.

When reality crashes into their fantasy, will they survive?

EXCERPT:

Indecision played over her features until she straightened her shoulders. “I’ll read the file.” She smiled, and a mischievous glint filled her eyes. “Where do you want me to start?”

Taken off guard, he stammered. Her smile widened, because she’d called his bluff and he’d flustered. Him. He could back down, but the next time they did this she’d know just how far he’d go to get a rise out of her.

He couldn’t waver, otherwise their time together would lose the frisson it usually had. So, Luke cleared his throat and waved her back to the table. Who would have thought she’d rather continue to call him by his last name than to read something explicit out loud?

Heat flushed his face and he wanted to open the balcony doors again, but if she wouldn’t say his name, she sure as hell wouldn’t take his jacket. He’d noted her nipples pressed hard against her white shirt, but she hadn’t complained about the cold.

When she settled into the chair across from him, he took in the tremble in her fingers as she opened the folder. Fuck. He tended to be a jackass from time to time, but this might be too much.

“Seraphina, you don’t—”

“I’ll start with my hand.” She ran her fingertips over the papers. “I know there are toys I can choose from, but the most intimate way you can get to know me is with my hand. I love to feel the way my clit swells the more turned on I get.” She glared up at him. “Do you want me to stop?”

He could barely move, much less speak. Her voice felt like silk running across the head of his cock. “You can stop if this makes you uncomfortable.”

She licked her lips, breaking the eye contact. “The more turned on I get, the wetter I am. I’ll run my middle finger over my pussy to spread the slick warmth of my arousal. You’ll lick your lips and your blue eyes will narrow. My nipples will tighten. They’ll blush dark pink and I’ll have to play with them to ease the ache.”

His mouth went dry. “Sera—”

She swallowed, her cheeks flushed. “Will you touch yourself too? Or would you want me to take your cock into my mouth? The taste of your pre-come will make me moan, make me wetter, and I’ll come for you and let you watch.”

He slammed his hand down on the table. “That’s fucking enough.”

She closed the file, her hands steady now. “Are you sure that’s enough, Mr. Moreland?” She sounded…aroused.

The doors were closed and the hotel suite was warm now, but her nipples pressed against her white blouse. He pushed air out. “Unless there’s something you want to add.”

“If you can’t handle this…” She waved her hand over the folder.

He narrowed his eyes. “Try me.”

Their gazes held for another moment. “Uh-I-I think you’ve made your final decision. I need to let Mr. Beaudelaire know and to contact Joss with the details.”

His muscles strained to reach across the table, drag her to his mouth, and then have her beneath him. He’d have her in every way his imagination could offer up. “I’ll take Joss, but make no mistake, I’d rather have you, Ms. Gibson.”

She licked her lips again, her face flushed and gaze filled with a desire he could damn near feel brush against his skin. His jaw clenched.

“Good night, Mr. Moreland.” She picked up the files and he let her walk out.

Without trying to, she’d stripped him of his belief that he’d never want a woman who hid herself, a belief he held close. And she’d brought him to that edge, not with her own words, but with someone else’s. Maybe it was best she’d told him no. He apparently needed her to. He damned her for it anyway.

With its twists and turns and surprises along the way, it is sure to become an “awakening” for any who dare to journey to the “Dark side.”
Snippet:
I honestly thought it was safe to enjoy a decent night out.
After coming out of the private area, I ran into a confrontation I didn’t expect to find. At the base of the stairs, Ramesses was in an intense discussion with a Dominant I could tell was not thrilled to be in my Beloved’s company. But that’s nothing new, it’s not like we get along with everyone in the community. What caught my attention was the submissive at the Dominant’s side.
jamii, our former submissive, stood in the midst of the dungeon, in a heated conversation with Ramesses.
I made my way over, with Kitana and Damian at my sides, to see what the problem might have been.
My Beloved seemed to have his demeanor under control, considering the guests were all around us enjoying the night’s festivities. It was this Dominant jamii was with who seemed to be coming unglued.
“Just admit that You weren’t man enough to keep this lovely piece satisfied, Ramesses.” I overheard him say as I walked up.
Ramesses felt my presence behind him, but that didn’t stop him from firing back, “Just admit that this lovely ‘piece’, as You describe her, is happy with You, regardless of what she might have told You went down within the House.”
“My name is Sir Xavier, Ramesses.”
“Then tell me something, Sir Xavier,” Ramesses continued. “How long have You known
our former?”
            “About two months.”
“Figures.” Ramesses glared at jamii, but Sir Xavier tried to divert his attention back to the source of the tension.
“What the hell does that have to do with the fact that Your sub collecting ass can’t keep all Your subs happy?”
I started to jump in, but Ramesses grabbed my hand. “Relax, Beloved, it’s obvious that our former has been a bit upset about the turn of events of the past couple of months, and she felt the need to have a champion for her cause to teach Me a lesson. Is that about right, submissive?”
“my name is now isis, Sir.” She really was trying hard to disrespect, even when Ramesses was trying to keep his calm. “i would greatly appreciate it if i were addressed as such, Sir.”
“I will address you in whatever manner I see fit, submissive, until you remember your place,” Ramesses bellowed loud enough for a few people to hear him. “I do not care who you submit to now, WE taught you better than this insubordination you are showing now. Right now, you’re acting like a common trick off the street. Do you really want Me to treat you accordingly?”
“You will not treat her as anything I do not allow You to treat her as, Ramesses.” Xavier tried to step between Ramesses and isis, thinking his chivalry in defending his lady’s honor would endear him to the crowd.
            Big mistake…
“Oh, don’t worry, Sir, I don’t think You could treat her as anything she would allow You to treat her as.” Ramesses stared him down, moving into his personal space, challenging him like they were on the street. “Where did You come from anyway, who vouched for you to even be on
the grounds?”
“At least I am submitting to a real Dominant…” came flying out of isis’ mouth out of the blue. The point of no return had been reached.
The next sound the guests in the basement heard was a loud THWACK!
The next thing those who bothered to turn around to be a witness to was a sight that even shocked Amenhotep…and it took a lot to shock Amenhotep.
isis was on the ground holding her cheek looking up at a severely irritated Lord Ramesses. He stood over her with a scowl on his face that scared the hell out of me and Kitana.
Sir Xavier looked like he wanted to protect what was his, but one look from Ramesses stopped any ideas that he might have had there. Looking down at isis, he still felt the need to make some attempt at protecting her.
He swung at Ramesses, catching nothing but air. The next two punches belonged to my Beloved, catching Xavier on his jaw and the back of his head, dropping him to the floor face-first.
As much as the crowd tried to remain composed, the oohs and ahhs rained down on the scene as all play scenes stopped in favor of the drama surrounding the new Lord of the Palace.
Amenhotep stepped forward, staring down at Sir Xavier. He shook His head, wondering for a moment what made Xavier try to take things to the next level.
“You, Sir Xavier, are no longer a welcome guest upon these grounds. You and Your property are free to leave on your own, or I can have security escort you from the premises,” I heard Amenhotep say to Xavier amongst the silence. “Understand the events of this evening are of Your doing.”
“You mean to tell me that You are going to allow a Dominant to hit a submissive in Your
domain, Master Amenhotep?” isis pleaded, still on the ground nursing the bruise on her cheek.
“you are the last person to question Me, woman.” Amenhotep scolded. “Or would you like for the rest of the guests in here to know the reality of your disrespect towards the House of Kemet-Ka upon your requested release?”
isis looked up at Sir Xavier, who had a confused look on his face, and then at the throng of guests now making their way towards the commotion, and all of a sudden the leverage she thought she had had all of a sudden disappeared.
“What is Amenhotep referring to, isis?” He asked of his submissive.
Ramesses saw the result of the misdirection that had befallen Sir Xavier. The flash of anger in his eyes was evident, and almost like someone had flipped a switch, Ramesses calmed down. He realized the woman Sir Xavier thought he knew was nothing more than an opportunist. The confusion over whether to protect her honor was evident on his face.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I apologize for the interruption in the festivities,” he started. “Would anyone like to vouch for Sir Xavier and isis? It seems that they have managed to attend a private affair without the ability to name the persons who claimed them as their guests.”
Silence for nearly two full minutes.
“Well, since no one wants to claim these two as guests, then I must ask security to escort them from the premises. Ramesses has spoken.” He headed upstairs and out of our line of sight as the security personnel executed his order.
