Writing, Writing, Writing
As I dropped my husband off at work this morning, one of the local radio stations was playing Dr. King’s “I Have A Dream” speech in its entirety. I sat in my car long after having reached my destination listening, because those words wouldn’t allow me to leave them unheard. Dr. King’s words have always given me chills and they did so, yet again, this morning. His words have elicited awe, inspiration and hope for many for more than seventy years.
And considering where our nation is today, I pondered whether his sacrifice had been in vain and my answer quickly became a resounding NO! We may have strayed from his vision somewhat, but I still believe that we will see that day he espoused so many years ago…that our children will judge others not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. As human beings we all have more commonalities than not, so I truly believe we will eventually get there. Peace! <3
I’m using my day off as a writing day. What are you doing today?
Speaking of writing, if you want to read any of my books while you’re waiting on my new stuff to publish, you can find all my books here, where a couple of them are now on SALE: LV Lewis books!

A fantasy weekend at The Beaudelaire Hotel may give him a second chance with his contemporary Amazon.

The Billionaire’s Miracle Family by Arabelle Stevens
Audrey Edlin’s life was completely under control with a predictable routine. She had a job she loved, friends, and a lovely home on Beacon Hill in Boston she inherited from her grandmother. Life was consistent, orderly, and comfortable. Except for the man-child living next door.
Donahue Alister lived in the townhouse connected to Audrey’s. He loved loud video-games, his raucous buddies, and pizza. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, so life was one big party to him. Or so it seemed to Audrey, who was nothing but annoyed by him.
Things change when a chubby, bundle of joy is left on Don’s doorstep, forcing the two neighbors to join forces for the welfare of little Chloe.
Sparks fly when they begin to see each other a little differently and realize that things, and people, aren’t always as they appear.

Kissing The Counsel by Jillian Riley
A fake marriage. A real baby. One huge mess.
Avery Price needs quick cash to save her bridal shop. When she discovers a way to win $50,000, she jumps at the chance. The only catch is, she has to get married or at least stage a convincing wedding. Her best bet is Beach Pointe’s most eligible bachelor. But he hates everything to do with marriage.
Veterinarian Dr. Jack Maddox is a magnet for every gold-digger in town, but Avery is the only one who’s ever walked out on the chance to share his bed. When he finds her in his kitchen in only an apron, he’s shocked that she’s changed her mind, but there’s a catch (of course).
Though he’d rather poke his eye out with a fork than even pretend to get married, he can handle a little acting for this fun-sized wildcat.
But, starting a family was never part of the deal…

OMG! Did I just bid and win a date with Shane Rempel for over one thousand dollars?!
What the hell was I thinking? Was I not the one who just said I would never spend that kind of money for a date with a stranger?!
Apparently, all sane thoughts just flew right out the moment HE walked up on that stage at the auction.
I was hooked line, sinker and all.
And let me tell you, if you spend that much money for a date, you definitely go on that date. So, I went.
And guess what? It kind of ended with me starting a war with the guy on the said date. And I even did a walkout.
Yeps and after that disastrous first meeting, you definitely do not expect the guy to turn up at your workplace asking for another date!
But he did. And guess what I did…
